  • Super Saturday Valentine's Day: We are having a Super Saturday Valentine's Day program on Saturday, February 6th, 1:00pm - 3:00pm! A great afternoon filled with stories, crafts, and games. Call the library to pre-register at 403-362-2947, or click here for more information!
  • Lunch-Box Talks: Around the World: The return of our annual lunch-box talk series about places to go and sites to see. Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:05pm - 1:00pm. These sessions are free, and drop-ins are welcome! Call the library at 403-362-2947, or click here for more information!
  • Cowboy-Poet Doris Daley: Join one of Canada's premier cowboy-poets by videoconference for an evening of entertainment, poetry, writing tips, festival reports, and iambic pentameter!   • RISE Videoconferences: There are lots of great new video conferences at Brooks Public Library this winter! Coming up on February 2 is Got a Great Idea for a Kid's Book, an informative session for adults interested in writing a children's book. Ranchers and feedlot operators will be interested in Parasitic Wasps to Control Pest Flies Affecting Cattle (Thursday February 4), and Dung Beetles and Cow Manure (Thursday February 9th).   • The Gallery: 'Richard Wood' is the Gallery exhibit for February. Mr. Wood is a local landscape artist - his work captures the magic of being in the countryside, and we are very excited to display it. Click here to learn more about this exciting new exhibit.
